The Chatsworth Multi Academy Trust is led by an experienced and highly skilled group of Members who each have a long-standing and deep commitment to people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Our Members are:
Mrs. Francine Brower
Francine has devoted her working life to the education of pupils with a range of learning needs. She was formerly the Headteacher of Inscape House, Salford, a specialist school for pupils with autism, a Regional Co-ordinator for the National Autistic Society and latterly an Autism Development Officer for two Local Authority’s in the North-West.
Francine has been an active member of the National Autistic Society’s Accreditation Programme and provides training and advice on SEND both in the U.K. and internationally.
Dr. Ian McKinlay OBE
Ian is a retired consultant paediatric neurologist who has held several prestigious academic and professional positions in his long and highly respected career. Ian was a prime mover in developing community based services for children with disabilities and received his OBE in recognition of this work.
Having served Salford’s schools for many years in a professional capacity, Ian continues to serve his community as a Governor of Springwood Primary School and a Member of our Trust.
Mr. Brendan Murden
Brendan has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of leadership and management and was the founder of CEL Leadership and Change. He has extensive experience of supporting organisations, particularly in the public sector, in developing their strategy and refining their activity.
Brendan has a deep personal commitment to people with disability and has dedicated himself to supporting people with additional needs over many years.
